I recently bought a Keurig k-kup coffee maker and every cup brewed tastes like plastic?

We recently bought this coffee maker, followed the directions in setting it up, rinsed the plastic water reservoir thoroughly yet every cup of coffee/tea/cocoa tastes like plastic. This machine brews one cup of coffee at a time. It’s reservoir holds 10 cups of water. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get rid of the plastic taste?
The concept of the machine is great it’s unfortunate everything it brews tastes like plastic.

run the coffe machine with no grounds just the water. thats how i clean mine.
Put a few tablespoons of vinegar into the water filled reservoir and brew 10 cups without the coffee.
